I have a cam-corder. Anthony has seen it but it would work rather than spend your money on another camera while you can use that money to buy books and nice school supplies.This is what it happens to look like.

If we wanted to use this we would have to go to target and find the usb for it so we could edit the films and what not. So if you dont wanna use money then i got this brick of a thing.

ok, so i did break the camera, and payed a little bit for it by falling on my hip, elbow, knee, and wrist. ehyr'e all pretty busted up. I also found a camera by Canon, called the FS100, and its really much better than our supermini. Plus its 300 bucks, a dang good price. I've also agreed to pay 100 bucks off the next camera.

RIP Mini

The day at Krush started out very well. Almost too well actualy. We couldn't possibly go to Krush and not have something bad happen right? Right. So we decided to film a line. We got the line filmed and then it didn't look as good as a certain person who shall reman nameless but might or might not be of french origin, thought it should. So we agreed to film the line again and boom, next try a certain person who shall reman nameless but might or might not be of french origin is on the ground next to my panasonic mini dv with the lense parts a couple feet away. Little mini did not surive this time. The fisheye is fine but my camera is dead. forever. The good news is is that I got into the high school I applied to so I can get a new camera. Nothing like an VX29004 or whatever but a new camera is on the way. mine was already four or five years old and was bound to die soon. We probly just need to put a pillow around the new one or something. sorry frenchy for your fall and i hope your all good now but you owe me one.

New Such Luck Post

I forgot to tell you if you didn't already know, there's a new suchluck post.

Florida Trip

If you didn't know, I went to Florida for three days and it was awsome.
It was really great to go on vacation. I only got one thing filmed
because it was vacation and I didn't want my dad having to film me for
hours. We went to the beach and also snuck in to the Ringling Brothers
circus museum. The ticket line was long and the tickets were expensive
so we just walked in and no one really noticed. A lot of cool stuff
therre. Heres some pictures and one video clip from the trip.
I guess these fish are sort of common in Florida because there were a
couple of them on the beach. I couldn't tell if they were alive or not.

These
birds were all over the place but this one was in a bird rehab center.
Yeah, yeah, the line was sort of lame but it was a really fun rough
spot. I dont know if you can tell but I was ducking under a rope at the
begining of the line. The video doesn't seem to be working very well but it'll be up soon.

Back from the Capitol

Just recently returned from Washington D.C. It was great. The weather was pretty warm for the first few days and then it became the same as Chicago. I was there for some "National Security" thing for youths. At first i really did not want to go because I thought it was all boring seminars and stupid politics but i decided to try new things. I was miserable the first and second day because I knew NOBODY!!! but as the days went by, i met some very interesting people. I met people from all over the country (mostly southerners) I've never actually heard a southern accent until i went there and Whenever there was an Obama thing on T.V. they would get there pride on and demean him if you know what I mean. I was so isolated. I was the only Asian-"city slickin"-Midwest dwellin-freshman-skateboarder in the whole community. Overall, though I would have to admit that I did have a lot of fun being with all of them and there are some amazing spots right next to each other in DC and maryland. I'll post pictures soon.

Oh and being around so many southerners, i've aquired a southern accent.

Mind Field

Okay so here's the deal. Mind field is pretty much the best video i have ever seen in my whole life, and it is up online and this is where I watched it. It was so so sooooooooooooooo good that I really regret watching it online. I think that I am going to buy it when I can because it is just a video that everyone should own. I thought everything including the soundtrack and all the art stuff was pretty much perfectly placed in there. If you can resist the forbidden fruit (link above) and can also go and buy the video, go do it. right now. I've probably watched it over 15 times already (no exageration.)

Today Was a Good Day

So finally the weather let up and it was 50 degrees out. We cleaned up wilson but mostly Gordon did it. Definately thank him for walking around barefoot in freezing water shoveling snow. Street skating also went surprisingly awsome. Overall, a good day. Come to Wilson on Sunday cause I'm sure it will be dry.

so first there was GRIND then there was DECK DOGZ, then Paranoid Park, Now there is "SKATE OR DIE" which gives the populated term a new meaning, where you really do die unless you skate your ass outta them french gangsters. (frenchy please translate)

In other news, it should get up to 40 degrees by the end of the week and raining. Let's hope it melts the snow.
Oh and this game is all i ever play on my friends iPhone. It's like a virtual tech deck. It's super lame but its fun.

you think you had a bad day

Indio had a worse one. 20 minutes after he walks in, broken deck. But, then he got a used deck from the shop owner. After that he tried a bam spin down the stairs and came pretty close to obliterating my camera for good which sent him into a pretty bad guilt trip. The camera turned out to be fine, but about an hour into the second session indio broke another board. he didn't have anything to do for almost 3 hours. After all this he found out that his broken board with the trucks and wheels on it had been stolen. nice.
